Event Registration FAQS

This post provides some notes on how to register participants in programmes.
Revolutionise Sport is the software platform provided by Australian Sailing to all affiliated Sailing Clubs.  There are many nice features available in this product and, like all software, there are a few tricky bits.  This post aims to address some of these issues.
We are currently reviewing other event management systems in order to address the issues outlined below.

System seems to hang after entering payment details – Please don’t use mobile phone or tablet

The booking system is very reliable when using a PC or Laptop and most reliable when using the google Chrome browser.  Please use a PC or Laptop running Chrome if possible.
We do not know why other devices are less reliable.  We have asked the vendor but not received a satisfactory response.

System seems to hang after entering registration details and before taking payment details
Please complete all mandatory fields.

Covid-19 Update 21 August 2020

Please see below the latest advice from Australian Sailing and NSW Department of Health.  In short this advice is a recommendation that if you live outside Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs you should not attend competitive activities at the Club until after 30 September.  This is disappointing, however, we are obligated to pass on the advise.
The overview advice from NSW Health can be found here: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/cho-advice-sports.aspx
The advice from Australian Sailing can be found here: https://www.sailingresources.org.au/covid-19/nsw/?fbclid=IwAR1RqlW5nk76kYeTlN4ohHxLJnWYvpLzEEYC8IhlRjIsG8JjLc1spN-JXU4
Do not attend the Club if you have visited Victoria or any of these Sydney hotspots in the last 14 days.
The Club is principally operating as a storage facility with Club racing and some limited training courses.  The Club toilets and changerooms are open.  The Club cafe and all other internal facilities are closed.  This is in accordance with NSW Public Health Orders and cannot be avoided.  The situation is constantly changing. Please read the COVID-19 Policy in full before each

Help the Club open sooner

The #COVIDSafe app has now been released, and will assist state and territory health officials to quickly contact people who may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Australian Sailing are encouraging the sailing community to download the COVIDSafe app, but note that doing so is completely voluntary.

Downloading the app is something you can do to protect you, your family and friends and save the lives of other Australians. The more Australians connect to the COVIDSafe app, the quicker we can find the virus.

Membership and storage renewals – prize draw – holiday for two on Hamilton island

It is time to renew memberships. The Club’s financial position is solid post the significant investment in 2019 to build the ramp and pontoon. However, the Club’s future would be grim without its primary source of funds which is membership and storage fees. The timing is not ideal but we appreciate the prompt payment of your membership and storage fees. Most fees remain unchanged from last year.

If you pay your membership by 31 May 2020 your name will go into a draw to win a holiday for two on Hamilton island.

If you have not paid by 31 May 2020 your security access may be disabled until payment is received.
