Telephone Issues
Due to a telephony cable being cut in Rose Bay all streets surrounding Vickery Ave have lost land line telephone connections, and the estimated repair time is early April.  Obviously this includes Woollahra Sailing Club, so in the meantime please bear with us and contact us by email until service is restored – sail@woollahrasasilingclub.org.au. Updates will be posted on facebook, instagram, and WSC website.

COVID-19 response
We are closely monitoring advice with regard to COVID-19 and have taken a number of actions to mitigate the impact on the Club.  We ask that all member read our COVID-19 policy and observe the recommendations there in.  As the situation develops we will update the policy so please check-in from time to time. Club News – March 5 2020

Sail GP Inspire
Congrats to Hanako Tomishima and Austin Cross for attending Sail GP inspire last week. It was great to see Woollahra Sailing Club members challenging other sailors from Sydney Harbour.
We are looking forward to meet next year competitors and enjoy another Sail GP event.
NSW 420 State Championships
On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of March, WSC will be the home of the NSW 420 State Championships.

Due to the continually changing nature of the Coronavirus situation and the fluidity of the advice being provided by health authorities, below is an update on the way the club is responding to COVID-19.
Health authorities are urging people returning from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Italy and Iran to be vigilant in monitoring themselves for respiratory symptoms or fever. If you or a family member has, or is about to, return from any of these areas, we ask that you self-isolate for 14 days and not attend the club.
NSW Chief Health Officer has confirmed that there appears to now be evidence of community transmission of COVID-19 in Australia, and so

Woollahra Sailing Club is proud to host the 2020 Tasar State Championships on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of February.
We are delighted to prepare the delivery of another great event, welcoming sailors and families from every corner of NSW.

Club News – February 21 2020

Yard Operations
We would like to advise all members that WSC yard will be very busy for the next 10 days due to occupation by the NSW Tasar State Championships and Sail GP Inspire programs.
They promise to be spectacular events, do not miss the opportunity to be part of it.  Some boats will temporarily be stored in the Scout Hall Car Park across the road.  We apologise for any inconvenience.  Please ask staff to assist with moving your boat if required.
