Cock of the Harbour
The traditional Harbour race will be hosted again at Woollahra Sailing Club on 9th February (time TBC).
Duration: Approximately 3 hours. Course may be shortened if not complete within the time limit.
Course may vary on the day due to conditions.

NSW Tasar States Championships
Woollahra Sailing Club is proud to host the 2020 Taser State Championships on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of February.
We are delighted to prepare the delivery of another great event, welcoming sailors and families from every corner of NSW.

Congratulations to WSC Members who competed in the recent 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 at Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club and also those who achieved selection for the provisional 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 (𝐀𝐒𝐘𝐓).
It was great to see many members attending the regatta in different capacities.
Unfortunately bush fire haze affected 50% of the event and our sailors had mixed results with minimal racing.
Our sympathy goes to those impacted by the fires, Woollahra Sailing Club will be supporting relief organisations.

Position Vacant: Sailing School Administrator and Senior Instructor
Woollahra Sailing Club is hiring
Reporting to: General Manager
Position Purpose
Provide administration and clerical support for the Sailing School and assist Club Management in delivering on water instruction. To support and administer the sailing and training activities of the Club. On-water work will be required, with the main focus on the administration across all aspects of the club’s programmes including Internal and External training programmes.
Tasks
Provide administrative support to WSC
Sailing School Instruction
Communicate with Club and external customers.
Promotions and sales of sailing school products.
Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth operation between departments affected by sailing activities.
Coordinate and administer in conjunction with the Club Coach all sail training programmes.
Organise and administer prize giving and award ceremonies.
Support and assist in the development of club volunteers and the volunteer base.
Collect and analyze data pertaining sailing activities.
Complete other administrative functions as directed by the Sailing Manager and General Manager.
Assist in developing initiatives to increase participation in sailing activities.

Sydney Harbour Splash
Celebrate Australia Day the right way with a splash in the worlds best harbour. Back for it’s 4th year on Sunday 26th January the iconic swim starts at Woollahra Sailing Club and follows the coastline giving participants stunning views to the Harbour Bridge as they go. Do not forget to register and be part of this amazing event! Please be advised that WSC yard storage and operations will be impacted from 4.30AM to 2PM and access to boats and use of the yard will be restricted during that period.

Course Overview: Having enjoyed your introduction to racing, it is now time to improve your performance and compete at a higher level. This course will provide you with a greater understanding of tactics, wind patterns and boat tuning techniques.
Who should do this course? This course is designed for participants who wish to continue developing their racing skills in dinghies
