New Website May 20

The Woollahra Golf Club Website is getting a refresh – adding new features and images. All the logins remain the same for members.
We have spent a significant amount of time consolidating the content to make the site easier to navigate, so there may be a period getting used to the changes depending on which sections of the site you use most frequently.
The changes include improved usability of the site on mobile devices.
The site is scheduled to changeover on May 20. If you experience any difficulty with the updated site please contact the Club via an email directed to office@woollahragolfclub.com
If you have difficulties with the new site when it is live, you may need to clear your cache to view correctly.

Club News – March 5 2020

Sail GP Inspire
Congrats to Hanako Tomishima and Austin Cross for attending Sail GP inspire last week. It was great to see Woollahra Sailing Club members challenging other sailors from Sydney Harbour.
We are looking forward to meet next year competitors and enjoy another Sail GP event.
NSW 420 State Championships
On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of March, WSC will be the home of the NSW 420 State Championships.

Congrats to WSC Instructor Mena Ferguson and member Sylvie Stannage for her first open laser World Championships.

COVID-19 – Coronavirus

The Woollahra Sailing Club Policy on COVID-19 is that we ask all users of the facility to follow Federal Government advice.

Due to the continually changing nature of the Coronavirus situation and the fluidity of the advice being provided by health authorities, below is an update on the way the club is responding to COVID-19.
Health authorities are urging people returning from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Italy and Iran to be vigilant in monitoring themselves for respiratory symptoms or fever. If you or a family member has, or is about to, return from any of these areas, we ask that you self-isolate for 14 days and not attend the club.
NSW Chief Health Officer has confirmed that there appears to now be evidence of community transmission of COVID-19 in Australia, and so

Club News – February 21 2020

Yard Operations
We would like to advise all members that WSC yard will be very busy for the next 10 days due to occupation by the NSW Tasar State Championships and Sail GP Inspire programs.
They promise to be spectacular events, do not miss the opportunity to be part of it.  Some boats will temporarily be stored in the Scout Hall Car Park across the road.  We apologise for any inconvenience.  Please ask staff to assist with moving your boat if required.

Rainy Weekend ahead
As happy as we are to see some real rain at last, the weatherfront is bringing some forecasted high winds with it. Despite the forecast all weekend activities are currently going ahead as planned. Please keep checking our website, facebook, and instagram pages for real time updates.
Cock of the Harbour – Feb 9
The traditional Harbour race will be hosted this Sunday at Woollahra Sailing Club.
Briefing 11.30am Time: 12.30pm
Duration: Approximately 3 hours. Course may be shortened if not complete within the time limit.
Course may vary on the day due to conditions.
