Today we celebrated Environment Day and were lucky enough to hear from the RBSC student band for an outdoor concert

To assist parents in understanding what the ROSA and HSC is, the subject selection process and academic options, we will be holding two webinars to provide information and opportunity to ask questions.

In term 2 we had a visit from alumni June Harrington who graduated as School Captain in 1946.  June was shown around the school to see how things have changed since she attended Rose Bay Secondary College 76 years ago.

The Rose Bay SRC is conducting a review of the school’s uniform and investigating potential ways to modify it and increase uniform uptake.

Dear school community, 

Our school has been advised that there has been three new cases of COVID-19 reported in our school community today (years10 & 11). You may have noticed a decrease in the number of these communications. This has been because we have only had one or two cases, or none at all some days.   

In addition, we have been notified of a case of chicken pox in the school and have attached a fact sheet for your information.

We remind our community of the new close contact rules requiring mask wearing and daily RATs for 5 school days if a student wishes to attend school as a close contact. Otherwise they may learn from home. It is mandatory to notify the school if a student is a close contact please. 

 

 

The Rose Bay Secondary College Year 11 and 12 debating team reached the grand final of the Premier’s Debating Challenge last Friday. After an exciting series of knockout debates beginning in term one, 145 teams were reduced to two! 

A huge thanks to Mr Te Rata for organising a fun filled Futsal comp for Year 12s!
