RBSC students Maya, Nicola and Mia were preparing the wax for the Environment committee so that younger students can create their own beeswax wraps as a sustainable and effective food wrap for lunchboxes.

Rose Bay Secondary College Student Representative Council hosted a whole school event to raise awareness about World Environment Day. This year’s theme for World Environment Day was Air Pollution but as we are located on the coast we decided to take a Plastic Use and Coastal Management Focus for our own school event.

Congratulations to Sarah, who is the Sydney South Schools Regional Junior Surfing Champion for 2019!

Rose Bay hosted an exciting round of the Eastside Debating Competition on Friday February 28 against Sydney Grammar. 

On Monday October 28, four RBSC students from Years 10 and 11 (Hattie, Mary, Sarah, and Jana) participated in the Kirby Cup mooting competition at Western Sydney University.

On Wednesday February 19, all Year 9 students had the privilege of watching the exciting and informative “The Smashed Project”.

On Tuesday October 22, our STEM girls team took home first prize from the GoIT Challenge Finals at UNSW.

Students from different ages, cultures and
backgrounds will share the spotlight as they dance, play and sing for
you. Choose from one of our four massive performances at Qudos Bank
Arena on Friday 22 November and Saturday 23 November.

This year’s events will feature:

• more than 380 schools
• 5,500 performers
• a 3000-strong choir
• 2,300 dancers
• an 80-piece symphony orchestra
• a world-class stage band.
