The hose rack is there for all members to use. If the hose is not coiled after use it encroaches on the yard, creates an obstacle and becomes hard to use. Ensure the hose is coiled after use and the water is turned off at the tap – don’t rely on the trigger of the hose gun.
Good luck to all Woollahra members competing overseas
Over the next few weeks a number of Woollahra members are competing overseas at Kiel week, the 420 world championships in Vilamoura Portugal, the ISAF youth world championship in Poland, and the Laser world championships in Japan. We wish them good luck and fair breeze.

New launching ramp
Dear Members,
We have exciting news. Your Club is about to start work on the new ramp!
The new ramp will be twice as wide, twice as long and half the gradient. In addition, we are constructing a pontoon on the western end of the ramp that will assist with rib access and reduce wave disturbance when launching and returning to the ramp. It’s going to be great!
The construction of the ramp is a major project, costing $1.2 million dollars and will take three months to complete. The NSW Roads and Maritime Service is contributing $800,000 to the project and the Club must fund the balance.
To meet the balance, the Club is calling for donations. Please consider donating and ask your friends to do the same. Donating is easy through the Australian Sports Foundation website: Simply click here to donate.
Full details are available at: https://www.woollahrasailingclub.org.au/the-club/new-ramp/
