This was the first of four afternoon sessions which replace the two staff development days usually timetabled after the last teaching day of Term 4 in December.
The session was a huge success – out of almost 80 staff attending, 97% reported that they were extremely or very satisfied with the session.
Biggest best nipper representation yet
The annual NSW State Nippers Carnival was conducted at Blacksmiths Beach from 1st March through to 3rd March. Over the years RBSC has always had very strong representation but this year was possibly not only the biggest RBSC representation but also the one with the best results. All of these nippers should be very proud of being nominated to attend the NSW State Nippers Carnival as this is a great achievement in itself. To make it into a final is an amazing achievement. To medal is simply sensational. RBSC is proud of all of our future Lifesavers. They will most certainly participate with aplomb as the water safety for the annual Year 7 Life Saving Week in December.
